Painter – Conformal Coating Operator hand sprays different coating material to electronic circuit boards, follows instructions to make sure certain areas of the board do not get coated.
Fonctions Principales/Essential functions
- Hand spray with a gun acrylic coating or silicone coating to electronic circuit boards.
- Mask and/or tape circuit boards in areas that are to be free of conformal coating or potting.
- Inspect assemblies to ensure proper coating coverage.
- Remove any excess coating and perform manual touch-up.
- Transport racks of circuit boards from one destination to another to continue the manufacturing process.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to always provide a safe and clean working environment.
- Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor to accommodate fluctuating production requirements.
Formation et expérience/Education and Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in PCBA Conformal Coating environment
- Electronics or component experience.
- IPC knowledge
- Ability to make decisions.
- Ability to work independently, with proven team building and leadership skills.
- Professional and mature attitude.
- A demonstrated high level of initiative, attention to detail and accuracy and work independently.
- Experience within a manufacturing facility.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and instructions in production files.
- Uses good communication skills to foster teamwork and drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
- Possess self-motivated, proactive work ethic, willingness to learn and change in a dynamic environment.
