We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate osteopathic techniques and methodologies.
- Administer medications as necessary and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Provide pain management strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
- Engage in data collection for ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver pediatric care with sensitivity to the unique needs of younger patients.
- Collaborate with hospital staff in acute care settings to ensure continuity of care.
- Utilize electronic health record systems
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, preventive measures, and self-care techniques.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and patient care protocols.
- Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and research practices in a clinical setting.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
