The Orthotics Lab Evaluator will be working in our production lab at our Head Office location.
The Orthotic Lab Evaluator’s main duties include:
- Interpreting and translating clinicians’ work orders and casts into information that lab employees can use to create orthotic devices
- Clearly communicating work order and cast information into our database
- Working as part of the evaluation team which includes technical support, quality control, receiving and other evaluators
Requirements:
- strong lower limb biomechanical knowledge and pathologies
- identification and knowledge of cal vertical
- orthotic knowledge preferred
- excellent attention to detail
- strong literacy skills with the ability to comprehend and analyze information
- ability to problem solve and work with fragmented and incomplete information
- able to visualize shapes and have the ability to design from written concept to visual concept
- able to stay focused in a fast paced working environment
