What you’ll do

Reporting to the Manager, Store Support Integration & Communications, the Operational Communications Analyst is responsible for developing and track metrics as well as utilizing analytics to assist in decision-making. This role also provides operational communication services to Canadian Tire and Party City Stores and support the Business Optimization & Store Communications team.

  • Deliver data-based insights regarding operational communications to Canadian Tire and Party City Stores through CT Hub, and generate actionable conclusions.

  • Influence technical solutions to enable efficient data retrieval.

  • Oversee inputs for Store Capacity planning for a multi-layered tracking and visualization.

  • Oversee and track weekly invoices for Business Optimization and Store Communications for monthly and quarterly operations expenses reporting.

  • Collaborate with Business Optimization & Store Communications to develop measurable KPI’s for key business initiatives.

  • Refine weekly scorecard of communications platform engagement to inform stakeholders on communication effectiveness, such as Video stats and Joomag analytics.

  • Provide timely forecasts and reporting as well as ad hoc reporting as required.

What you bring

  • Undergraduate degree or post-secondary education and 2-5 years in a data analytics role or relevant experience.

  • Advanced skills in Google Analytics and other analytics platforms.

  • Superior analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data from multiple sources

  • Proven capability to provide actionable recommendations.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. Experience with Power Automate is beneficial.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Detailed oriented and self-motivated

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
