Position Summary
As an Oilfield Laborer, you’ll play a key role in supporting oilfield operations through manual labor and general assistance on-site. This is an entry-level position with the potential for growth within the company. You’ll work alongside skilled professionals, assist with equipment, and help maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with setting up and taking down equipment on-site.
- Perform general labor duties, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and maintaining equipment.
- Help with site preparation, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents to the supervisor.
- Assist in the operation of heavy machinery under the supervision of experienced operators.
- Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are organized and readily available.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
- Follow directions from supervisors and senior crew members.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required, though previous labor or construction experience is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Ability to work in outdoor, rugged, and challenging environments.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
- A strong commitment to safety and following safety protocols.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing (if applicable).
- Safety certifications (e.g., H2S, First Aid) are an asset but not required.
