NATURE OF THE WORK
Under the responsibility of the Director of Sabtuan Adult Education Services (SAES) and the direct supervision of the Coordinator of Adult Education – Administrative Services, the principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists of performing a variety of administrative functions according to methods and procedures of a relatively complex nature.
CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS
Retrieve, sort, verify, and archive all inactive student and pedagogical files from adult education and vocational training programs;
Create and update a catalogue of the student and pedagogical files;
Input and ensure accuracy of all data regarding inactive student registrations using various electronic systems (JADE-TOSCA, Charlemagne, etc.);
Identify unresolved outstanding student files;
Digitize the files while respecting the norms and regulations established;
Organize and transfer inactive files to the Regional Archives Centre while respecting the Policy on Records Retention and Management (Archiving);
Communicate with people internally on matters related to student and pedagogical files;
Work in collaboration with the Administrative Technicians of the administrative unit;
If need be, performs any other related tasks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Secondary V diploma or attestation of equivalence;
Have at least one year of experience;
Have a basic knowledge of office automation;
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems (asset);
Cree and English are a requirement;
Knowledge of the French language is an asset.
