VI Labour is seeking to hire a office administrator for an 8 week temporary position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Manage and maintain office supplies and inventory
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and electronic
- Support human resources functions, such as helping onboard new employees.
- Provide general clerical support as needed
- Considered an asset: Property management experience, Social Media Posting, and vehicle fleet maintenance.
Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of basic human resources processes and procedures is a plus
