Ideal Candidate:
An individual who has a lot of flexibility and/or availability and is not reliant on regular hours, as this is an AS NEEDED contractor position. Would be great for a retired dog lover, someone with an existing flexible work schedule, or someone who regularly works evenings and/or weekends.

Summary:
As a Dog Walker at Waggy Walks Ottawa, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our furry clients. Filling this position allows us to provide uninterrupted service to our clients when any of our walkers are sick, have taken the day off, or are on vacation. You will help ensure that while their regular walker is away, that the dogs receive the exercise and attention they need. Your contributions will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Build strong relationships with both dogs and their owners to foster trust and loyalty.
- Monitor the behavior and health of dogs during walks, reporting any issues to the owner as necessary.
- Collect video evidence of your walks to be used on social media
Requirements:
- Previous experience with dog handling is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients.
- Ability to manage multiple dogs safely during walks.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., assisting larger dogs).
