Night Shift Addiction Support Worker
Reports To
Night Shift Team Lead
Summary
Night Shift Support Workers supervise and interact with clients from diverse backgrounds who may be experiencing substance use and/or behavioural addictions. In addition, Night Shift Support Workers fulfil various secondary responsibilities.
Duties
- Supervise participants to ensure adherence to facility rules and regulations
- Offer emotional support as needed
- Report rule-breaking observed to the counsellors during morning shift change
- Conduct hourly rounds throughout the building
- Provide wake-up calls for participants
- Complete a shift summary
- Prepare continental breakfast
- Stock kitchenette

Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable populations considered an asset
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector check
- Community Addiction and Mental Health Services Certification preferred
Shifts
- Friday & Saturday overnight - 11:00pm - 9:00am
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
