Duties
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes while ensuring consistency in flavor and texture.
- Decorate and present finished products attractively for display.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while demonstrating creativity in product development.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business needs.
- A culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not mandatory.
