Position Overview:
Working as part of a dynamic team as a seasoned Microsoft 365 (M365) technical specialist, you will spearhead the adoption and optimization of M365 services within the organization by leveraging your deep understanding of the platform and providing support and guidance to the THP staff. In addition, utilizing your advanced M365 and IS application knowledge you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering documentation and training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Microsoft 365:
- Utilize Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and related Microsoft 365 tools to design and implement solutions that streamline business processes
- Provide expert guidance and support for enterprise architecture in M365, including defining and documenting technical standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
- Resolving ServiceNow tickets for M365 and training requests
- Ensure that all M365 configurations comply with industry best practices and organizational policies related to security and privacy
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for innovation and improvement within the M365 environment
Training:
- Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials for Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, to diverse audiences ranging from beginners to advanced users.
- Create and administer assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide post-training support to participants, addressing any technical issues or questions related to Microsoft 365 applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest updates and features of Microsoft 365 applications and incorporate them into training programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other trainers and IT staff to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and objectives
Documentation:
- Develop and maintain vibrant and appealing technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, training videos, and troubleshooting guides
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to various audiences, including technical and non-technical users
- Develop high-quality content that meets organizational standards and user needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation
- Organize and manage documentation repositories, ensuring documents are up-to-date and easily accessible
- Implement and maintain document control procedures to ensure consistency and version control
- Review and revise documentation for clarity, grammar, and technical accuracy
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in delivering technical education
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Microsoft 365, including hands-on implementation, consulting, and technical support
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing and documentation
- Relevant Microsoft 365 certifications nice to have such as: MS-102, MS-700, SC-200, SC-400, MS-500, MS-900, AZ-900
- Relevant training certifications such as: Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), and CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+)
- ITIL 4 Foundations preferred
- ServiceNow, required
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar
- Technical writing skills and experience
- Experience in automation and scripting languages, including Power Automate and PowerShell required
- Strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking and business acumen
- Knowledge of clinical processes and experience in healthcare environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills - ability to articulate analytical results and tell a story
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Ability to work under pressure with changing priorities in a complex environment
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle several tasks simultaneously
