West Springs Medical is a busy Family Practice clinic located in the SW community of Cougar Ridge/West Springs.
We are looking for a trained Medical Office Assistant to join our collaborative team of staff and physicians to fill a full time permanent position effective immediately. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to work well within a team. Duties will include booking appointments, messaging between doctors and patients, scanning and filing to a Telus EMR system, secure e-mailing using Pomelo, taking vital signs and rooming patients, sterilizing medical instruments in the autoclave, as well as other duties. The position offers 40 hours per week and total hourly pay will include 4 percent vacation pay added to base hourly wage ($17.31) on every pay check for a total of $18 per hour. Pay period is monthly.
A Medical Office Assistant certificate/diploma as well as work experience in a medical office and with an EMR system (we use Telus PS Suite) IS A REQUIREMENT.
