Join Our Patient-Focused Endocrinology Practice at a Multidisciplinary Medical Clinic
We are currently hiring a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to work 1-on-1 with our endocrinologist at our Brampton medical clinic, which also houses an onsite pharmacy and family practice. We are seeking a like-minded, compassionate, and detail-oriented individual who will complement our efficient operation and help create a positive experience for our patients and visitors.
Position Details:
- Part-time – 20 hours per week
- Schedule:
- Monday: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
- Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 4:45 PM
- Thursday: 8:45 AM – 12:45 PM
- Expected Start Date: July 21, 2025 (training) Aug 4, 2025
- Location: In-person at Brampton medical clinic
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and document patient vitals
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Respond to phone calls and emails in a professional manner
- Create and maintain patient profiles
- Arrange referrals and follow up on investigations
- Use Connecting Ontario to access patient records
- Upload and manage Freestyle Libre data
- Maintain high standards of patient care and confidentiality
- Build and sustain strong relationships with patients, team members, and external partners
- Uphold clinic protocols for punctuality, hygiene, and professionalism
- Perform administrative and clinical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- MOA diploma or certificate
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a primary care practice (interns welcome to apply)
- Proficiency in OSCAR EMR and Microsoft Office (Windows environment)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative team player with excellent organizational skills
- Fluency in Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu is a strong asset
