Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and answering phone calls.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar efficiently.
- Process patient intake forms and ensure accurate electronic medical records (EMR) entry.
- Assist with billing and insurance verification processes as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, treatment plans, and office policies.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for patient management tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical office or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare environment.
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in using phone systems and office equipment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
