Material Processor and Receiver for Indoor Metal recycling Facility, starting immediately.
As a material processor and receiver, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials and ensuring high quality of materials for recycling. Your core responsibilities will be to receive, process and prepare shipments of recycled materials. Join us to contribute to a sustainable recycling process.
Responsibilities:
- Receive material and separate by grade and type for both the public and industrial customers.
- Deliver high level of customer service as customers enter our facility.
- Manual sorting of materials to upgrade materials and prepare for final processing.
- Operate counterbalance forklift to load/unload trucks and to move materials around the facility.
- Maintain a clean facility to ensure a safe environment.
- Occasional driver for small delivery truck to make pick up and deliveries.
- General help as required around the plant.
Qualifications:
- Excellent English communication skills are essential.
- Knowledge of different grades of non-ferrous metals
- Demonstrate attention to details
- Forklift license and a valid G drivers license an asset.
- Ability to withstand dirty environment with hot/cold temperatures
Safety equipment will be provided.

Gilbat Metals is a family run business founded 40 years ago. Our operating Hours are Monday - Friday 7am - 4:30pm and Saturday 7am to 12pm. Shifts will be assigned upon hiring.
