Pharma-medical Science College of Canada (Pharma-Medical)

We are looking for an energetic, talent, flexible person to join our instructor team.

Responsibilities:

· Monitor the daily patient schedule during clinic hours

· Ensure students have enough linens, lotion/oil etc (supplied by them)

· Ensure each student adequately cleans and sanitizes their treatment area and all equipment used and logs it in the folder in their treatment area.

· Ensure each table has hand sanitizer, surface cleaner and paper towels and a cleaning log in the folder

· Assist students with any concerns relating to: patient charting, health history intake, assessment, treatment concerns, remedial exercise suggestions, patient charting, ethical concerns, any other concerns relating to the therapist-patient relationship and interactions.

· Work with the front desk staff to ensure each clinic shift runs smoothly

· Provide students with feedback regarding their patient notes, when required.

· When junior students are shadowing clinic, assign them to a senior student and monitor their experience throughout the entire clinic shift.

· Help students clean the clinic at the end of each clinic shift.

· Communicate with the front desk staff should a problem pertaining to a patient arise during or after clinic

· Communicate with the Clinic Coordinator should a problem pertaining to a patient arise during or after clinic

· Ensure students are dressed appropriately for clinic according to the student clinic dress code policy.

· Enforce clinic policies and procedures as outlined in the Student Clinic Policy and Procedure Manual.

· Checking clinic equipment and tables and report damage/ things in need of repair

· Evaluation of Student Clinical Competencies.

· Confirm student clinic hours using their clinic Manuel

· Maintain current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR level HCP.

Qualifications:

Registered in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario

Minimum 2 years working as Massage therapist

Demonstrated teaching ability

Good understanding of the learning process

Dedicated to student success

Medical background is asset

Good computer skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
