About You
You’re a detail-obsessed marketer who thrives on creativity and precision. You know how to craft compelling copy that grabs attention and drives action, whether in an email, SMS, or push notification. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves, adapt quickly, and bring fresh ideas to the table. With grit, positivity, and impeccable organization, you’re ready to help shape how our audiences experience content across every touchpoint.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Email, SMS & Push Notifications
- Maintain a calendar of email, push, and SMS marketing to support all campaigns and sports seasons.
- Craft tight, engaging copy for all channels, collaborating with designers for strong, on-brand presentation.
- Help launch SMS marketing at the appropriate time.
- Build and automate lifecycle messaging around customer journey triggers and audience segments, in partnership with the Director of Content Marketing.
- Monitor analytics to identify what’s working and where to test, adjust, and optimize for performance.
Events & Social Media
- Cross train to help manage the social media calendar and post content across channels.
- Capture content and support content shoots as needed.
- Assist the events team with planning and onsite execution when required.
Collaboration
- Provide support for the sales team’s email needs.
- Partner with marketing verticals across all APMC brands to keep campaigns creative, cohesive, and effective.
About the Role
As the Marketing Coordinator, Email & Notifications, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement across our owned channels. From designing automated customer journeys to crafting timely push notifications and supporting major campaign launches, you’ll help ensure our audience stays connected, engaged, and excited about everything APMC has to offer. This is a hands-on role where creativity meets strategy, and execution is key.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with email marketing and copywriting.
- Exceptional writing skills with impeccable grammar, and an understanding of concise, modern copy that resonates with today’s sports fan.
- Strong eye for design and detail, with the ability to collaborate closely with creative teams.
- Positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with a strong sense of grit.
- Highly organized, with proven project management skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills and an outgoing personality.
- Creative and strategic thinker who isn’t afraid to suggest new approaches.
