Job Title: Marketing Consultant – Summer Job Position
Location: Alliston / Bradford
Job Summary:
To be eligible, youth must:
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period*
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment** and
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
*The youth must be 15 years of age at the beginning of the employment period. The youth may be more than 30 years of age at the end of the employment period as long as the youth was 30 at the beginning of the employment period.
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Consultant to join our organization. The ideal candidate has a passion for marketing, strong communication skills, social media savvy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in marketing strategies and initiatives within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Marketing Campaigns: Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing and events.
- Social Media Management: Help manage our social media channels by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of local events, festival and fairs.
- Analytics Tracking: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics tools to measure effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and familiarity with social media management tools.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in marketing, event planning, or a related field is a plus but not required.
