Job Summary
The Market Development Associate supports the implementation and execution of sales and marketing strategies by assisting in the promotion and specification of insulation products across targeted industrial applications. This role involves working closely with the sales and technical teams to build awareness, develop new opportunities, support in customer engagement efforts and contribute to market share growth in industrial applications such as Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Heavy Industry applications.
Position is remote, ideally based in the GTA.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the build preference with engineers, asset owners, etc to develop specifications that create pull-through demand for Armacell.
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations to promote insulation solutions and gather feedback.
- Support the maintenance on commercial projects throughout all project stages in collaboration with the rest of territory sales team.
- Help deliver product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on insulation solutions and benefits.
- Provide basic technical support and relay more complex inquiries to technical team.
- Assist in gathering market insights and customer feedback to inform marketing and product development efforts.
- Support the rollout of new products and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and assist with reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn and understand technical product information, such as reading mechanical drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- Bilingual in English and French is considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 50%).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00-$87,000.00 per year
