Manager, Digital Services (Full Time) – Toronto, ON

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Digital Services to lead the planning, development, and delivery of digital platforms and services. This role actively creates digital content and ensures the organization delivers high-quality, accessible, and user-focused digital experiences across all channels.

The ideal candidate demonstrates knowledge of all content platforms and possesses an analytical mindset with the ability to coordinate multiple projects. With strong leadership and team management experience, excellent communication, strong design ability and presentation skills, this candidate will work closely with various departments to produce memorable online campaigns.

THE CREATION

Content Strategy & Planning

- Develop and implement a cohesive digital content strategy aligned with brand and business goals.

- Plan content calendars for various platforms (web, social media, email, etc.).

- Stay current on digital trends and integrate new formats and channels as needed.

- Ensure content reflects brand voice, tone, and positioning across all channels.

Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and support a team of content creators (writers, designers, videographers, social media coordinators, etc.).

- Assign projects, manage workloads, and oversee timelines to meet deadlines.

- Conduct regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and skills development.

- Foster a collaborative, creative, and productive work environment.

Content Production Oversight

- Review and approve content for quality, accuracy, and brand alignment.

- Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and tone across all assets.

- Manage workflows for multimedia content: blogs, videos, graphics, newsletters, etc.

- Collaborate with other departments (marketing, sales, web dev) to support broader initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

- Track content performance across platforms using tools like Google Analytics, social insights, etc.

- Generate regular performance reports and offer insights and recommendations.

- Use data to refine strategy and improve audience engagement and conversion rates.

Governance & Compliance

- Maintain content governance standards (voice, grammar, copyright, accessibility, etc.).

- Ensure all content meets legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

- Manage approval workflows and version control processes.

Content Creation & Oversight

- Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, email newsletters, and social media.

- Oversee freelance writers, videographers, and graphic designers.

- Ensure all content adheres to SEO, accessibility, and UX best practices.

Website & CMS Management

- Maintain and update content.

- Optimize site structure and landing pages for engagement and conversions.

- Collaborate with IT or developers on functionality and technical fixes.

Social Media Management

- Create and schedule posts across platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).

- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and track trends.

- Analyze performance data to refine content and posting strategy.

THE ENERGY

- Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, or related field (preferred)

- 5+ years experience in digital services, with leadership and team management

- Familiarity with CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), CRM systems, analytics tools, and UX principles.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in a music, broadcasting or entertainment industries an asset

- Experience with forming strategic marketing partnerships with social platforms, influencers, visual creators, etc.

- Existing relationships with digital platforms & online partners and brands a plus

- Creative thinker with an eye for design, in addition to a strategic marketer who is driven by innovation and understands how to communicate effectively & measure results

- Must have knowledge in filming content

- Experience and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and ability to multi-task and prioritize

- Knowledge of standard office programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook in a Windows driven environment

- Experience working in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)

- Able to edit on mobile software for videos, GIFs, and static visuals
