TIW WESTERN Inc. is an established Calgary based manufacturing company and recognized leading supplier of thermal industrial equipment, including heat recovery and once through steam generators.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as they arise.
- Conduct tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, complete daily/weekly/monthly inspections and PM services.
- Electrical, mechanical and working at heights safety awareness.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities and equipment maintenance.
- Electrical experience is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members.
