MAINTENANCE MANAGER** - Position located in Red Deer, Alberta

ROLE STATEMENT:
The Manager, Maintenance will be a member of the District Support Department responsible for managing the District Maintenance Department to ensure that daily repairs are done on schedule, safely, and cost effective. Reporting to the District Manager the Manager, Maintenance will focus on overseeing maintenance and repairs of assigned districts, including all field and district maintenance staff.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensures equipment repairs performed to CWS standards
- Complete and document company and Government regulatory inspections
- Maintain detailed, accurate and current district equipment files
- Outsource third party repairs as required
- Ensure that staff levels adequately support operational requirements
- Work with Corporate Management to resolve equipment issues
- Provide effective communication with district management team regarding department operations
- Manage employee and equipment assignments and schedules to meet customer requirements to achieve Corporate mandate of Service First
- Promote operational policies, procedures to achieve safety objectives
- Provide leadership/mentorship and direction to members of the Maintenance department
- Interact with the equipment vendor / OEM to aid troubleshooting and offer solutions
- May be required to participate in investigative activities if infractions occur
- Provide on-site location support for Maintenance personnel as required
- Responsible for inventory management and maintenance cost controls
- Strong knowledge of Calfrac specific equipment and maintenance procedures
- Advanced knowledge of Cetaris program
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
- Calfrac experience preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills at all levels
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills including e-mail, OEM diagnostic tools etc.
- Advanced knowledge of diagnostic equipment
- Promote and demonstrate safety leadership
- Ability to organize and manage work processes
- Strong knowledge of all field operations
- This position is considered to be a Safety Sensitive Position and may require additional screening
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a strong understanding of operation of coiled tubing, nitrogen, and fracturing equipment
- Minimum 7+ years of industry related maintenance experience
- Minimum 2+ years of industry maintenance supervisory experience
