Job Overview
S&S Transportation is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating strong relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions within the freight and supply chain industry. The Representative will have the duty of finding new customers therefore they should have at least one year of experience.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Manage accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profitability while meeting their needs.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
Skills
- Strong account management skills with a focus on customer relationship management.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in inside sales within the freight or supply chain sectors.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the company and clients.
- Knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) concepts is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
