Duties
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely manner.
- Previous experience in dispatch is mandatory.
- Utilize phone systems to manage incoming calls and provide accurate information.
- Process orders, track shipments, and handle returns efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other relevant software.
- Analyze customer feedback to improve service delivery and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Knowledge of invoicing and driver settlements is an asset.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers.
- Strong phone etiquette to create a positive customer experience.
- Proficient in data entry with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of freight operations and terminology is advantageous.
- Ability to analyze information quickly and efficiently to resolve customer issues.
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar software is a plus.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
