We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices, food safety standards, and meal preparation techniques is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in a collaborative setting.
