Job Summary
We are a busy Japanese izakaya looking for a passionate and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Whether you’re experienced or eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where quality and speed matter. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes following our recipes and presentation standards
- Support kitchen operations during busy service hours
- Handle prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep your station clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Communicate and work closely with the kitchen team for smooth service
Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is an asset, but not required
- Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
- Able to stay organized and focused under pressure
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Positive attitude and strong team spirit
- Passion for cooking and Japanese cuisine is a plus
