Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations during food preparation and storage.
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training sessions to improve cooking techniques and kitchen skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
