Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and have a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality presentation.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
- Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.
