Duties will include all aspects of line, prep, fryers, salads, dishes, regular cleaning, along with various additional kitchen functions.It is important to us that the successful candidate MUST be able to work as a team player and also comfortable working proficiently alone.
Food preparation
- Set up and stock cook stations
- Chop, mix, and make sauces
- Grill, fry, saute, and broil food
- Prepare food according to recipes and restaurant standards
Food safety Follow health code regulations, Maintain a clean and organized work station, Ensure food is served at the correct temperature, Inspect supplies and equipment for safety, and Handle and store food safely. Cleanliness
- Follow a restaurant cleaning checklist
- Clean their station and put away tools and food at the end of each shift
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations
Other duties
- Take inventory counts before and after shifts
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Ensure quality of food
- Work on weekends
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$19.30 per hour
