We are seeking a dedicated and experienced skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Ability to handle food safely and efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of various cooking styles and cuisines is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
