Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively
