Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the food industry.
