We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Leasing Clerk / Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dealership accounting team. This dual-role position involves processing lease contracts, maintaining accurate leasing records, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, dealership accounting experience, and a commitment to maintaining financial accuracy.
Leasing Clerk Duties:
Process new and used vehicle lease contracts.
Verify customer information and contract accuracy before funding.
Post lease deals into the dealership management system (DMS).
Track and reconcile lease receivables and payoffs.
Maintain leasing files and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Accounts Payable Duties:
Match, verify, and enter vendor invoices for inventory and non-inventory purchases.
Process payments via check, ACH, or electronic transfer in accordance with terms.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate and organized AP records.
Assist with monthly closing procedures and account reconciliations.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and inquiries.
