Company Description
CAWST is a Canadian charity and licensed engineering firm. We address the global need for safe drinking water and sanitation by building local knowledge and skills on household solutions people can implement themselves.
At the heart of everything we do is our belief that when people have their basic water and sanitation needs met, they have the opportunity to succeed. This is what drives our dedicated team to work with a global network of more than 1,500 clients and partners. Together, we have reached over 50 million people since our inception in 2001.
Collectively, we are making a difference at a scale beyond what any of us could do individually. But our job isn’t done yet and we need you to help us expand our reach.
Job Description
Do you dream of your work making a difference in the world? CAWST is an international development organization focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 6 - water and sanitation for all - and we’re looking for an organized, reliable, and passionate self-starter to support our learning and development team.
Join CAWST in a dynamic role where your passion and creativity drive the design, delivery, and evaluation of online, blended, and face-to-face learning materials. As a vital team member, you’ll actively develop, adapt and curate compelling capacity development resources. This position offers a diverse scope, allowing you to explore water, sanitation, hygiene, behaviour change, and instructional design subjects.
At CAWST, we need learning assets to be documented and easily and quickly accessible by our staff and clients. That means creating conditions for knowledge to flow between people and tools, identifying and capturing important information, and creating systems everyone can use with minimal time and effort to access and share.
Location: This position requires you to be located in Calgary. You must be available to work from our Calgary office for at least three days per week (Monday to Wednesday), with flexibility to work from home on some Thursdays and Fridays. Evening or weekend hours may be required for certain events.
