Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Lead Server will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences by overseeing the dining area, managing the serving staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a keen understanding of restaurant operations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the serving staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train new servers on restaurant policies, food safety standards, and customer service techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure that all dishes meet quality standards before serving.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, address any concerns, and enhance their dining experience.
- Implement upselling techniques to promote menu items and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Assist with end of day procedures. Handling money, verifying systems.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is required, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Proven ability to provide exceptional guest services and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
