Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, diligent and punctual Real Estate Law Clerk/Legal Assistant to join our team. The Law Clerk will assist lawyers and staff with client intake, preparing correspondence, searching, preparing closing documents, scheduling signing appointments, closing and post-closing reporting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist in onboarding clients and preparing closing costs estimates
- communicating with other real estate industry offices, including realtors, municipal offices, law offices, land registry office staff
- file opening, drafting correspondences, searches of title and off-title investigations, preparing closing documents, attending to closing procedures, post-transaction reporting to clients
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
Experience
- Law Clerk or Real Estate Assistant diploma from an Ontario college required
- Previous experience working in a law firm or legal setting preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Closer, LEAP, Microsoft Suite required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34.5 – 40 per week
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay

- No weekends
