Absolute Home Services is a Burlington based home services company established in 2012. We offer a one-stop shop for home owners to get all of their home services done by one company who is focused on delivering great work and service. We currently have divisions within the company including landscaping, handyman services, and painting. We are growing rapidly and looking for people that are customer-oriented individuals who want to grow.
Job Purpose
The Landscape Hardscape/Construction Lead Hand is responsible for working along side the crew leader on various residential landscape construction projects, as well as some other types of landscaping projects. The Lead Hand will also be responsible for leading projects at times. Projects could be as small as planting and sodding jobs to as large as full back/front yard renovations. In the winter the lead hand will be responsible for residential snow removal.
Duties and responsibilities
The Landscape Construction Lead Hand is a key member of the Landscape team ensuring that timelines, budgets and customer expectations are satisfied. The Lead Hand is responsible for the following:
- Installation of interlock
- Installation of plants, trees and sod
- Repair of interlocking stone
- Understanding of grading and drainage
- Working with a crew and closely with the crew leader on projects
- Working to meet budget and timeline expectations
- Helping to maintain construction equipment
Qualifications
The lead hand must have some landscape experience though we are open to training and coaching a fast learner that wants to learn and grow. We are looking for people that want to grow into Crew Leaders and potentially even Project Management.
Compensation
$22-27 per hour based on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week

Experience:
- Landscaping: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License and Transportation to and from our Yard (preferred)
