Cutting Edge Landscaping is currently seeking experienced lead hands and operators, water truck drivers and class three drivers for our landscaping team. Ideally, you will have at least 2 plus years of landscaping experience and experience in a lead hand capacity.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting a landscaping team, ensuring quality work is completed in a timely manner and on budget. You will be expected to steer the job performance of the team and to ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
The successful candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively engage employees under their supervision. Must have a background in running skid-steers, small excavators, loading and unloading of trailer units. A clean class 5 drivers abstract would be a beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients, Foreman, Superintendents and Managers
- Competent in understanding and interpreting drawings and instructions relevant to the project.
- Confident execution of daily work plan, meeting targets and problem solving.
- Lead daily toolbox meetings on site with crew and complete daily safety documentation.
- Accountable for quality control on the jobsite to ensure work is completed to company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of landscaping or related construction field experience.
- Minimum of 1 years in a lead hand/operator position.
- Must have the capacity to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Good technical understanding of landscaping principles and practices.
- Ability to engage employees under their supervision.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Valid class 5 or 3 driver’s license, clean 3-year drivers abstract and reliable transportation.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
