Role Description
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Kitchen Operations Lead to join our team at Chick-fil-A 410 & Steeles in Brampton. This full-time, on-site role is crucial for our restaurant's success, focusing on operational efficiency and a positive team environment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Operations: Lead the kitchen team, manage daily BOH tasks, and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
- Team Management: Manage team member performance, shift organization, and staffing needs. You will also effectively train and develop, shift leaders, team members and trainers.
- Quality Control: Ensure team members follow recipes and maintain accuracy with weights and measurements. You will also maintain store cleanliness and conduct food safety and quality audits.
- General: Perform physical activities like lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
Other Responsibilities
- Execute opening and/or closing procedures with precision.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure products and guest experiences are consistent with our brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate inventory of kitchen supplies and products.
- Assist with new hire onboarding and training for kitchen staff.
- Track attendance, schedule changes, and time-off requests for kitchen staff.
- Assist with conflict resolution and escalate concerns to leadership when needed.
- Maintain open communication with team members to promote engagement and retention.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and leaders.
- Assist in general operations as needed.
Qualifications
- A valid Advanced Food Safety Certificate is a must.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant leadership role is preferred.
