Overview
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in our restaurant's success by ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served to our guests. You will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation and food handling tasks, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
Skills
- Proven cooking skills with experience in meal preparation and food handling.
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
