Job Title: Key Account Sales Manager
Location: Oakville, ON (Hybrid)
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 base + performance bonus + benefits

About the Role
We’re looking for a driven, mid-career account management professional to join our North American Key Account Sales team. This is a critical role focused on managing and growing some of the most strategic retail relationships including Walmart, Canadian Tire, Loblaw, as well as The Home Depot, Sam's Club, Lowes, US Dollar, etc. You’ll act as a daily right-hand liaison to the President Sales, including upcoming line reviews, RFQ's and responding to customer requests.
This isn’t just account management—it’s about becoming a trusted partner to our customers, anticipating needs, and delivering consistently with data, insight, and personality.
What You’ll Do
Key Account Management
Own day-to-day relationships with Walmart and other major accounts (e.g., Canadian Tire, The Home Depot, Loblaws, Sams Club)
Manage communications, issue resolution, and ongoing updates with buyers and internal stakeholders
Support high-profile line reviews and prepare comprehensive sales presentations
Sales Support & Analysis
Partner closely with our President of Global Sales as a right-hand contact for reporting, strategy, and follow-through
Provide administrative excellence across:
PO tracking
Inventory management
Margin & P&L analysis
Forecasting
Budget tracking
Item setup & vendor compliance
Utilize platforms such as Retail Link, Syndigo, and others
Project Coordination
Lead product launch coordination and preparation
Monitor project timelines and deliverables with operations and product development teams
Flag risks or roadblocks early and often
Market Research & Development
Track competitor activity and customer shifts
Identify new opportunities and assist in customer-specific strategy planning
Participate in retailer visits and ideation sessions
What You Bring
5+ years of account management experience in CPG retail (Mass, DIY, Canadian Tire, Walmart, etc.)
Strong familiarity with large retailer platforms like Retail Link, Vendor Gateway, Syndigo, etc.
Deep knowledge or experience in categories such as Housewares, Storage, or Home Organization is a plus
Proven success managing key retail relationships and hitting commercial goals
Outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills—can build clean reports, presentations, and forecast models
Hands-on, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Able to work side-by-side with leadership while also operating independently
Strong communication skills—with customers, peers, and cross-functional teams
