Hi, my name is The Mule (previously Burro). I love chef-inspired tacos, cult classics, tequila drinks, GOOD tunes, vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso & YOU.
I should also mention I'm 100% gluten free. And I'm 100% serious about that. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon -and tequila- focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.
We are Burlington's favorite lunch spot, and go-to destination for a great bite & drink. Our tacos range from classic to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this.

Summary
We are seeking a Junior Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will assist in kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while contributing to a fun and engaging atmosphere for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily kitchen operations
- Ensure food preparation meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of work experience in restaurant kitchens is required.
- Previous work experience as a restaurant Line Cook will be an asset.
- Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
- Evening availability is required.
- Valid Food Handler's Certification will be an asset.
