Job Summary
The Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker will fulfill fabrication, installation duties and working as a team lead. Projects are typically custom fabricated to meet specific requirements for blueprints, though many tasks are repetitive in nature.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Enforce and comply with rules, regulations, and policies as set out by the company, Occupational Health & Safety, and applicable governing authorities
- Receive training for tasks associated with sheet metal work
- Follow job procedures and safe work practices to complete tasks safely
- Perform a variety of sheet metal fabrication or installation processes to meet customer needs, specifications, and quality requirements
- Ensure required materials and supplies are ordered ahead of time
- Maintain complete records of time and materials used
- Share training and knowledge with new workers and apprentices
- Maintain a safe, clean work area, including clean-up as part of project completion
- Attend safety/toolbox meetings, perform safety inspections, and participate in the safety program
Skills & Qualifications
- Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker certification (required)
- Experience in commercial sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43.00-$46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
