This role offers flexibility for remote work. For candidates located within 50 km of our Ottawa office, we follow a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they meet scope, schedule, and budget.
- Define project objectives with stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, track progress, and proactively address risks.
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to optimize resources.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget with precision.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, providing clear updates and escalating issues when needed.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, process maps, and reports.
- Delegate tasks effectively based on team members’ strengths and experience.
- Apply leadership skills to guide teams, influence decisions, and drive results.
- Support process improvement and organizational change initiatives.
- Follow Change Management principles in all project activities.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience; PMI certification preferred.
- Proven experience managing large IT implementation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage risk, and drive organizational change.
- Technically curious, collaborative, flexible, and customer-focused.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
