Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong understanding of irrigation systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. The Irrigation Technician will work closely with landscape maintenance teams to enhance the aesthetic appeal and health of various outdoor spaces.
Duties
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for installation and repairs.
- Dig trenches for irrigation lines and other necessary components.
- Regularly inspect irrigation systems for leaks, clogs, or other issues that may affect performance.
- Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions and plant needs.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation needs with garden care.
- Provide recommendations for improvements or upgrades to existing irrigation systems.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation system installation is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair various irrigation components.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and irrigation work.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A background in gardening or horticulture is a plus but not required.

Pay: $19.42-$32.28 per hour
