Here is your opportunity to join RDLC. We are actively recruiting for Ironworkers of all levels of experience to join us on our Surrey-Langley Skytrain project. As an Ironworker, you will play a crucial role in the installation of structural and miscellaneous steel, working under the guidance of a Foreman. Your expertise, hard work, and adherence to safety standards will be vital in ensuring that works are completed successfully.
- Assist in the installation of structural and miscellaneous steel under the supervision of a Foreman.
- Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
- Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Use hand and power tools to cut, weld, and assemble steel components.
- Follow all safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members, maintaining effective communication and a positive attitude.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Other duties as assigned by the Foreman or other supervisory staff.

Schedule
- Shifts vary and weekends may be required.
- Average of 50-60 hours a week.
- This Project is being executed under a Project Labour Agreement. All successful candidates for this role will need to sign up with the IW97 union.
- Benefits will be provided by the union as per respective collective agreements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.85-$52.45 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 58 per week
