About the job you’re considering
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect with hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and load balancing within large-scale data center environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IP network planning and design, with deep technical knowledge of core network services, Cisco technologies, and network architecture.
Your role
- Design scalable and secure IP addressing schemes and network topologies
- Develop architecture blueprints for data center and enterprise networks.
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex network infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and migration of lab and production networks.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide ongoing support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Your skills and experience
- 20+ years of hands-on experience in routing, switching, and load balancing.
- Extensive experience in planning and designing IP networks in large data center environments.
- Deep understanding of IP networking, including:
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS
- Switching technologies and VLAN design
- IP addressing and subnetting
- Strong knowledge of core network services:
- DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, HTTP/HTTPS
- Proficiency in Linux networking and command-line tools.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with load balancers (e.g., F5, Citrix NetScaler, or similar).
