About the job you’re considering

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect with hands-on expertise in routing, switching, and load balancing within large-scale data center environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IP network planning and design, with deep technical knowledge of core network services, Cisco technologies, and network architecture.

Your role

  • Design scalable and secure IP addressing schemes and network topologies
  • Develop architecture blueprints for data center and enterprise networks.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex network infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee the maintenance, upgrades, and migration of lab and production networks.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide ongoing support.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Your skills and experience

  • 20+ years of hands-on experience in routing, switching, and load balancing.
  • Extensive experience in planning and designing IP networks in large data center environments.
  • Deep understanding of IP networking, including:
    • Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS
    • Switching technologies and VLAN design
    • IP addressing and subnetting
  • Strong knowledge of core network services:
    • DNS, DHCP, SMTP, NTP, SNMP, Syslog, HTTP/HTTPS
  • Proficiency in Linux networking and command-line tools.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with load balancers (e.g., F5, Citrix NetScaler, or similar).
