Job Summary:
We are looking for a full-time, permanent inventory controller to join our close-knit team at the Timmins location. This position oversees the ordering, receiving, and stocking of our warehouse. Some administrative tasks as well. Job is Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. (40hrs per week) On-site training provided.
Duties:
- Generating and submitting purchase orders to replenish stock as needed.
- Developing and implementing inventory control procedures to manage the stock levels and meet quotas.
- Tracking and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Unboxing and receiving incoming shipments.
- Packing up and labelling outgoing shipments.
- Maintaining records and performing reviews on stock quantities.
- Updating and maintaining records of equipment, parts, and service documentation.
- Organizing and conducting the year-end inventory coordination.
- Conducting regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile items on hand.
- Maintaining a clean warehouse and shipping area.
- Dispensing inventory to technicians upon request
- Conducting audits of technicians inventories and resolving discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Highschool diploma (or equivalent).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Analytical skills.
- Physical ability and willingness to lift and move supplies (around 50lbs).
- Technical proficiency (ability to maneuver through software).
- Good record-keeping skills.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
