Role Summary
The Interior Finisher & Renovator will be responsible for high-quality interior finishes and renovation work, with flexibility to assist on maintenance, landscaping, handyman, and exterior tasks as needed. Work may occur indoors and outdoors, depending on project scope.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interior finishing tasks: drywall repair and installation, taping, sanding, trim/millwork, caulking, painting, and floor refinishing.
- Assemble, install, or renovate interior features such as cabinetry, moulding, doors, baseboards, and fixtures.
- Support general maintenance and handyman duties—including minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, landscaping, and cleanups—as part of property management services Colbourne Industrial Services.
- Perform occasional outdoor tasks (e.g. finishing outdoor structures or decks).
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain tidy, organized job sites.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate progress to supervisors and clients.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in interior finishing or renovation work (carpentry, drywall, trim, painting).
- Proficiency in hand and power tools typical for finish carpentry and maintenance tasks—e.g. saws, , drills, sanders, caulking guns
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors; able to perform physically demanding tasks under varying conditions Energy Job Shop.
- Valid driver’s licence; a personal vehicle is beneficial but can be assessed.
- Company tools will be provided; a company vehicle may be provided, but applicants with their own vehicle are preferred or assessed accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, time‑management, and ability to work independently or in a small team.
- Good communication skills and a reliable, safety‑focused work ethic.
Compensation

- Position may be full-time or part-time/casual, with approximately 30–40 hours per week, depending on business needs

Working Conditions
