Nova Scotia Power is seeking an experienced Integration Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of integration solutions for the cloud ERP implementation project.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technology & Transformation, this role will be responsible for ensuring seamless data flow between Oracle Fusion and internal/external systems using scalable, secure, and supportable integration patterns. The Integration Lead will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure integration solutions meet business needs and align with enterprise architecture standards.
Key elements of this role include:
- Collaborating with the architecture and integration teams to define integration architecture, select appropriate integration patterns, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
- Leading the design and implementation of integrations using Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, HDL, and other tools, including defining message formats, data mappings, and transformation logic, and overseeing reusable component development
- Coordinating with the project Test Lead to define integration test strategies, manage end-to-end testing, confirm data accuracy and performance, and support defect resolution during SIT, UAT, and go-live
- Overseeing integration governance, including maintaining inventories, data flow diagrams, and technical documentation, establishing change control and versioning processes, and ensuring traceability and auditability of transactions
- Engaging stakeholders including functional leads, data teams, and vendors to gather requirements, provide regular status updates, manage third-party vendors, and coach developers and analysts
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the integration process
These skills will make you successful:
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, including at least 2 years in a lead role on projects
- Proven experience with Oracle Integration Tools, APIs, and related technologies
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, middleware platforms, and data synchronization strategies
- Experience with security protocols (OAuth, SSL), error handling, and performance tuning
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Oracle certifications in integration or ERP modules
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., utilities, public sector)
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for integration delivery
